1. Are the backs and brims of the Beaufort Bonnet interchangeable? Top
  Yes, absolutely!  If you buy two bonnets, you’ll really have four!  
2. Are the bonnets reversible? Top
  No, our bonnets are handmade with a generations-old design that only allows the bonnet to be worn one way.   
3. Are the Beaufort Bonnets and Beaufort Buckets washable? Top
  Yes - these items are made to be worn! To wash, we recommend unbuttoning the bonnet, machine washing on cold (or delicate if you want to be extra careful), laying flat to dry and ironing only if necessary.  
4. How do you re-assemble the Beaufort Bonnet? Top
  The curve of the brim and the curve of the back should face the same direction. Line the first button hole up with the first button and voila!  
5. What if I have a question about Bonnet or Bucket hat sizing? Top

Our sizing chart is very accurate, but if you have any doubt, we suggest going up a size. A newborn definitely needs an Extra Small; their sweet little proportions can make a too-big bonnet look a bit silly. However, if baby girl will be wearing the bonnet the most between 4-7m we recommend going with the Small.  If you are purchasing a bonnet or bucket hat for a first birthday gift, we recommend the Medium.
